X-37B Space Debris Collection Mission

This simulation shows how the X-37B Space Plane could collect the oldest known space objects in orbit and deliver them to the International Space Station (ISS) for raw materials processing.

The simulation includes real orbital data for some of the oldest objects still in Earth orbit, including Vanguard 1 (launched in 1958), which is the oldest artificial satellite still orbiting Earth.

Click "Start Mission" to begin the simulation and watch as the X-37B plots an optimal path to collect and deliver these objects.

Note: Objects and orbits based on real data, but collection mission is simulated for educational purposes.
